A premix for producing a premium quality caramel cake with a moist, even crumb with a rich caramel flavour and excellent keeping qualities.
The Example photo is a 2kg bag baked. For a 1kg bag it would make 2 x 8 inch cakes.
- 2 × 8-inch cakes, using approximately 773 mL of raw mixture per tin.
- 1 kg bag makes approximately 1545 mL of raw cake mixture.
- Once baked and trimmed, each cake layer is approximately 3 cm high, creating a finished stacked cake approximately 7.5 cm high before icing.
Ingredients: Sugar, Wheat flour (thiamine, folate), Maltodextrin, Vegetable fat (vegetable oil, emulsifiers (471,477), antioxidant (307)), Potato flour, Milk solids, Salt, Raising agents (450, 500), Natural flavour, Malt extract (barley), Colours (102, 124).
